We digitize
audio and provide basic
, restoration & services. In
addition, we provide post production services
for music & video new/remix.
Basic
Service: Audio is digitized to audio into CDA or
MP3 (default). Service is limited to trimming with tracking extra.
Information is written to a disc. (CD or DVD). This service is provided at a
flat rate.
Restoration
Service: Once
digitized, audio can be analyzed and additional services performed.
Frequently
we edit audio/music by taking out unwanted sections, combining track or
rearranging music
location and sequence. Or, preparing the music for use in a video or
iPOD. This service is by the hour or by a quote.
Special
Services accomplish your goals such
as mixing an audio track or retrieving cell phone message &
re-recording on a disc.

Some Frequent requests are:

Equalized
Volume--a must for Internet download files as they may have different volume setting.

Hiss and
Pops digitally removed by request.

Digitally enhance audio: remove dead space, identify and create
audio clips/sound bites interest.

poorly sounding tapes perhaps by digitally increasing the playing
speed (or slowing).

Older automobile CD players may play an MP3 disc!
Sizing: In MP3 format,
at least 25 LP albums can be placed on a CD. In CDA format, about 2/3's
of one album can be placed on a CD [and we not squeeze extra audio
onto to a CD].
Default: Unless
requested, audio is saved in an CDA format.
Sound Restoration
Often, audiophiles want hear the sounds of the stylus/needle on the
vinyl groves, "Hiss and Pops",
whereas others want this type of sound removed. Removing unpleasant "noise" at
the "low end" of the sound range is another option. Our engineers can
"level the sound" by turning up the threshold noise level and remove lower dB "noise"
while other "noise" may remain. Audio can also be
adjusted using a digital "sound equalizer" with
portions of audio kHz band.

Tape Cassettes includes full size audio cassettes, duplicating cassettes (mini and micro size),
8 Track Tapes. We do minor repairs,
such as splicing & tape off reel situations. Basic service is digitizing to CDA or MP3
format and trimming audio. Web pickup is available beginning 10/2008. |

tape with
spool diameter sizes: 3", 5", 7" & 10.5"; and speeds of 1 7/8, 3¾, 7½
Inches Per Second (IPS)]. |
| Basic service is
digitizing to CDA or MP3 format. On a case by case basis, we trim
leading audio silence before audio commences. Trimming is extra. |
| Often, when we digitize a
5" & 7" & 10.5" tapes, there is more than an hour of
audio. This information is not known when we take in the job and
this effects the service quote. |

This is because the
recording speed was "FAST" so there is more content. |
|
There are two
consequences. Printergy is forced to decide what goes on a
CD and what is placed on another. We hope you like our choices. And it
takes more time to record, monitor and write additional discs. There is
an additional charge for this service. |

Player" [plays small diameter reel to reel tapes at a
variable
speed]. |

Printergy
has the capability to transfer audio, data, or video information to other media
forms. As long as the equipment has RCA audio jacks (Red and
White; Yellow is video), we can record/capture information from these devices.
