OPTICAL FILM

We produce DVDs from older optical film. Unlike video products, optical film has a limited life mostly due its heavy use of chemical ingredients and environmental storage conditions.

With names like Super 8 & Regular 8; 16mm, these reels have been tucked away in basements and closets waiting for younger generations to find yesterday's treasures.

Once digitized, optical film becomes a digital file like any other video product.  (See the vast number of WWII documentaries on the History Channel). It can be mixed with pictures and other film, enriched with audio from a personal cassette...

Audio Transfers & Video Transfers

Direct Video Capture to Web

Visual Media service includes transferring analog audio & video  into a digital format and placed on a disc.

 Typical audio transferred are:

Audio cassettes, dictation tapes & reel to reel products;   LP Records like 78's, 45's & 16/33 rpm vinyl records and most devices with a "RCA Connection", as well as newer smart phones and  answering devices. Typically, audio is converted to traditional audio format ( "CDA") which should play in a boom box, car and a computer.  MP3 and iPAD formats are also supported.

Typical Video media ranges from VHS, VHSc;  Video 8, Hi 8 & Digital 8; miniDV and fullDV tapes . . .and older Sony  legacy equipment such as DAT's, Beta's & Umatic's  [1/2" & 3/4"] . . . and video from any part of the World PAL & SECAM.   

As Camcorders become more powerful, video is  being written to SMART CARDS and HD CARDS. We are equipped to turn your video into a DVD or BLU-RAY disc. Finished video will play on DVD players & computer  . . . or put into a Web format for Macs & PCs.

Documents

To PDF for Search

    We scan documents, books, & papers to PDF format. 

Printergy has several documents scanners.  Most units are "group" production level---perhaps around 3 to 5,000 prepared pages a day.  We also have a one production level scanner and it is rated at 10,000 pages per day.

We turn paper into PDFs and then there are numerous options available. Files can be given back to the customer, placed online in a document repository ... or prepared for search --- Adobe Hidden Text  SEARCH & OCR for MS Word!

Scan Film Products
